Start where it matters. The Patriots took Jayden Daniels to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. Reaching for Cole left real value on the table behind him. The Elliss pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

The Kaden Elliss pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
