This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Charles Demmings, the No. 148 name on the board, stolen at pick No. 202.

They punted on wide receiver, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered. Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.

Good work on the whole, with wide receiver the one box left unchecked.
