The Rams' one glaring miss is running back, a need they left exactly as they found it. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.
Fuller falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. Reaching for Barber left real value on the table behind him.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
Pick-by-Pick
They did well to land Mansoor Delane in pick No. 13, just ahead of his grade. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
A tidy bit of business in pick 61, where A.J. Haulcy graded well above the range. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
The board had cheaper options than Austin Barber at slot 93, and it noticed. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
A market-rate quarterback, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Sawyer Robertson. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
A quiet steal in No. 232: Zavion Thomas for less than the market said. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Andre Fuller slipping to Round 7, Pick 35 is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. Insurance at a position that did not really ask for it.
Josh Cuevas in the Round 7 slot lands just on the right side of the ledger. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
