Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks let Allen fall into their laps, and walked away with a B.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Seahawks watched CJ Allen slide 33 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.
The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In the Round 1 slot they get a lockdown presence outside, and a steal at that. Need was not the driver here.
Somehow CJ Allen was still sitting there in the 64th pick, and they pounced on premier linebacker value. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Brenen Thompson at No. 96 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
No edge and no loss on Taylen Green in the 188th overall pick; it is a wash and a sensible one. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
