The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Keith Abney II, Round 2, Pick 31, roughly 20 picks past where he belonged. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

They are betting Crownover proves the room right and everyone else wrong. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.
