Call it larceny. Dillon Thieneman sat on the board until slot 95, and the Patriots did not need to be asked twice.

A whole weekend of picks and running back is somehow still a want. They are betting Josephs proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 7 of 8 of the wish list covered.

They trusted the board more than the depth chart.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
