You could see the war room lean forward. Jase McClellan at the 243rd pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.
They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. They will need Booker to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.
The dealing was even money, start to finish.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
