After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Commanders committed. Drake Maye is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Walley. The cost of the Wilson reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

They will answer for taking linebacker early while tight end, edge rusher and other spots went begging.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
