This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Charles Demmings, the No. 151 name on the board, stolen at pick 227.
Payne has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The Payne pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots still on the board.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
