The Cade Klubnik selection is the head-turner. The Jets reached 36 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered.
The Whittington pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The safety spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
Good work on the whole, with safety the one box left unchecked.

In the Round 1 slot they get a disruptor off the edge at fair value. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
In the 16th overall pick they get a difference-maker at receiver. A clean fit for the roster.
A quiet steal in No. 33: Sonny Styles for less than the market said. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Gabe Jacas at slot 44 is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Cade Klubnik in pick 103 is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Kaleb Proctor at the 140th pick nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. The roster fit checks out.
Anez Cooper in Round 5, Pick 39 is fair value, right on his grade. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
