The Vikings spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Reggie Virgil, the No. 165 name on the board, in pick No. 196.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. Every board in the league had Moore lower, and that gap is the story.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.

They let Jeremiyah Love come to them and pounced at the 18th overall pick. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Anthony Hill Jr. at pick 49 is money in the bank, a linebacker taken below his worth. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
They liked Devin Moore enough to skip the value, taking him in the Round 3 slot. A minor need, but a need all the same.
