You can draft well and still miss the point. The Steelers did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to quarterback, which was the need that mattered most. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.
That is a linebacker worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They left with safety solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.

In the Round 1 slot they get a weapon on the perimeter, and a steal at that.
