They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Jayden Daniels is the Commanders' quarterback, full stop.

The cost of the Frazier reach is exactly the players who went right after him. Landing Hadden that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
