B-
Washington Commanders
Larceny in slot 250 lands the Commanders a B-, Marks and all.

· 7 picks
· 4 steals
· 1 reaches
Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Woody Marks got past him. The Commanders do not have to explain a thing at No. 250.
A whole weekend of picks and tight end is somehow still a want. The Higgins reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered.
The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
Good work on the whole, with tight end the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
They took Mike Green at par in pick 29, which is nothing to complain about. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
They paid up for Jayden Higgins at pick No. 61 when waiting would have done the job. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Donovan Jackson at the Round 3 slot is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
A top-tier offensive lineman at a bargain, Hollin Pierce in the 148th overall pick, plain and simple. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Karene Reid slipping to No. 207 is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Taking Jordan Hancock in slot 238 is close to grand larceny; a safety that good had no business lasting this long. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
They barely believed it either: Woody Marks still on the board at the 250th pick. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
