Start where it matters. The Vikings took Jayden Daniels to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.
They will regret leaving wide receiver for another day if the season turns on it. The Jones steal is the beam this whole class leans on.
A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 11th overall pick they get a long-term answer under center. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
A slide stopped in slot 56, with Kamari Lassiter worth more than the price. It adds depth where they could use a little.
They read the board right and Calen Bullock was the payoff at pick No. 87. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
MarShawn Lloyd at No. 109 nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Mohamed Kamara at the Round 4 slot is right where the board had him, plain and simple. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Nice patience on Kalen King, who had no business lasting to the 156th pick. A want more than a need, though you can never have too many.
Jarrian Jones slid further than he should have, and pick 166 is lovely value for the cornerback. Stacking talent where they were already deep.
