There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Dolphins started one anyway for Trey Zuhn III, 35 picks ahead of schedule. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. With edge rusher, tight end and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on cornerback is the choice that costs them.

Getting Scott where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with quarterback the one that mattered most.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
