A solid, sensible weekend for the Jaguars: B-.

Everything else got attention, and interior defensive lineman got none. That is a strange way for the Jaguars to leave a draft. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.
They will need Parker II to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The Hecht pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
Pick-by-Pick
Gabe Jacas in Round 2, Pick 24 lands just on the right side of the ledger. A minor itch, scratched.
They did well to land Elijah Sarratt in pick No. 81, just ahead of his grade. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Brian Parker II at No. 88 is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
A tidy bit of business in pick 100, where Sam Hecht graded well above the range. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
