The tape said wait; the 49ers did not. Connor Lew went at the 58th overall pick, a good 26 picks before the board was ready. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.
A whole weekend of picks and wide receiver is somehow still a want. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.

They jumped the gun on Emmanuel Pregnon, taking him earlier than his grade liked. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
They reached into another round for Connor Lew, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
