Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Panthers were there to profit. Joshua Josephs, the No. 44 name on the board, should have been long gone before slot 83. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. On the needs board they went 3 of 9, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.
