There is conviction, and then there is this. The Packers took Brandon Coleman a full 44 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. The process wobbled, and the D- is where it lands.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. Spending an early pick on safety with quarterback and tight end open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

The Coleman pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.
