The Cowboys put a flag in the ground for Zion Logue, 42 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.
That Jackson pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 7 of 8 of the wish list covered.
They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
Pick-by-Pick
A slide stopped in pick 24, with Rome Odunze worth more than the price. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Payton Wilson in slot 56 lands just on the right side of the ledger. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
