You can draft well and still miss the point. The Buccaneers did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to interior defensive lineman, which was the need that mattered most.

They will need Scott to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. On the needs board they went 2 of 8, with cornerback the one that mattered most.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
