For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Giants walked out of the weekend still thin at interior defensive lineman, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with safety chief among the fixes. They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
