Everything else got attention, and cornerback got none. That is a strange way for the Lions to leave a draft.

Every board in the league had Overton lower, and that gap is the story. On the needs board they went 2 of 9, with offensive lineman the one that mattered most. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
