The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Raiders spent their marquee pick on Fernando Mendoza, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.
That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. However the rest shakes out, Hood at that price is a win they earned. They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
