There is reaching, and then there is Caleb Tiernan at pick 28. The Texans jumped the board by 25 and dared it to prove them wrong.

The McDonald pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain. Job largely done: interior defensive lineman settled and 3 of 8 of the wish list covered.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but running back.
