For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Chargers walked out of the weekend still thin at interior defensive lineman, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
