The Cowboys did not so much draft Tim Keenan III as overpay for him, 21 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

Rodriguez at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 7 of 8 of the wish list covered.
