The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Dolphins watched Christian Jones slide 45 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.
The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.
Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.

Quinyon Mitchell in the 35th overall pick lands just on the right side of the ledger. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Kingsley Suamataia at pick No. 71 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
