Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Packers spent Round 5, Pick 32 on Tanor Bortolini, a name most had 49 spots down the list.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. Gore Jr. falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
