When a board-topper like Barrett Carter slides to the Round 5 slot, you do not overthink it, and the Eagles did not. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.
Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
They trusted the board more than the depth chart.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
