Green Bay Packers

The Packers let Stewart fall and pounced. Final grade: A.

The board owed the Packers one, and it paid up: Josaiah Stewart, the No. 41 name on the board, sitting there at the Round 7 slot like a gift left on the doorstep.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want.

The veteran additions, Caelen Carson chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

Trust the process, because this time the process plainly worked.

Pick-by-Pick

R2.22 · Pick 54 · Kelvin Banks Jr. · OT · rank 3
Kelvin Banks Jr. at the Round 2 slot is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
R3.12 · Pick 76 · Jahdae Barron · CB · rank 14
Somehow Jahdae Barron was still sitting there in slot 76, and they pounced on premier cornerback value. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
R3.23 · Pick 87 · Colston Loveland · TE · rank 46
Colston Loveland at pick No. 87 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
R4.21 · Pick 122 · Walter Nolen · DT · rank 12
The board fumbled Walter Nolen all the way to the 122nd pick, and they scooped it up. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
R5.11 · Pick 148 · Wyatt Milum · OT · rank 13
They robbed the room for Wyatt Milum here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
R5.21 · Pick 158 · Jihaad Campbell · LB · rank 38
Circle this one: Jihaad Campbell at No. 158 is a fall that decides a draft. A minor need, but a need all the same.
R5.22 · Pick 159 · Tre Harris · WR · rank 26
Tre Harris in pick 159 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
R6.21 · Pick 196 · Ashton Jeanty · RB · rank 2
They barely believed it either: Ashton Jeanty still on the board at the 196th overall pick. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
R7.21 · Pick 237 · Josaiah Stewart · DE-EDGE · rank 41
They will replay Josaiah Stewart at No. 237 for years; that is how good the value is. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
R7.34 · Pick 250 · Dylan Fairchild · OG · rank 55
Dylan Fairchild at pick No. 250 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
