The real work happened on the phones. The Commanders fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

For all the activity, wide receiver went untouched, which is hard to explain. Reaching for Jackson left real value on the table behind him. However the rest shakes out, Henderson at that price is a win they earned.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
