Start where it matters. The Giants took Drake Maye to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.
Landing Fisher that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
They left with safety solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.

Fair-plus on Kamari Lassiter, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. It fills a real need, too.
A straight-up fair deal on Devontez Walker at pick No. 70, value and slot in agreement. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Bucky Irving slipping to the 107th pick is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Blake Fisher in the Round 5 slot is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Tykee Smith at slot 183 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
