Thirty-one other rooms let A.J. Haulcy slide, and the Cowboys were the ones holding the card at the 112th pick. Highway robbery.

Taylor has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

They went 6 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. They trusted the board more than the depth chart.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
