The Joshua Braun selection is the head-turner. The Dolphins reached 70 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. A mixed bag that lands at C+.
With edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on cornerback is the choice that costs them. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Pick-by-Pick
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Jeremiyah Love at pick 11. A need, and now a little less of one.
In Round 1, Pick 31 they get an anchor for the offensive line, though they paid up to get him. A clean fit for the roster.
Max Iheanachor at pick No. 43 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. It fills a real need, too.
Nice patience on Keionte Scott, who had no business lasting to the Round 3 slot. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
