Grand theft in Round 7, Pick 35: the Packers steal Magee and grade out a B-.

When a board-topper like Jordan Magee slides to pick 255, you do not overthink it, and the Packers did not. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.
They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Wallace has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
Pick-by-Pick
In slot 28 they get a building block for the line at fair value. A clean fit for the roster.
The board had cheaper options than Edgerrin Cooper at pick 41, and it noticed. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
A market-rate wide receiver, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Jermaine Burton. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
A clean, defensible pick in Round 3, Pick 25 with a little surplus value in Jaden Hicks. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Fair-plus on Dominick Puni, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. It fills a real need, too.
They let Elijah Jones come to them and pounced at pick No. 126. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Blake Fisher at the 128th overall pick is money in the bank, a offensive lineman taken below his worth. A need, and now a little less of one.
They did well to land Tykee Smith in the 163rd pick, just ahead of his grade. Nice player, but the depth chart did not need him here.
Ty'Ron Hopper at Round 5, Pick 33 is a conviction pick that outran the value. A luxury on a unit that was already in good shape.
Nothing to complain about; Curtis Jacobs went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. A want dressed up as a pick, at a spot they had covered.
Trevin Wallace in the 219th overall pick is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. Depth on depth, at a spot that was hardly crying out.
No edge and no loss on Kimani Vidal in pick 245; it is a wash and a sensible one. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Somehow Jordan Magee was still sitting there in pick No. 255, and they pounced on premier linebacker value. They added to a strength when a need was still open elsewhere.
