B-
New England Patriots
More right than wrong for the Patriots, and a B- to prove it.

2025 NFL Draft
· 9 picks
· 2 steals
· 4 reaches
The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Patriots reached some 107 spots for Que Robinson, and value like that does not grow back.
The Gordon II steal is the beam this whole class leans on. That safety hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the safety spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 4th overall pick they get protection for the quarterback. A clean fit for the roster.
Tyler Booker in pick 38 is fair value, right on his grade. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
They took Jayden Higgins at par in No. 69, which is nothing to complain about. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
A reach on Denzel Burke in pick No. 77; the board had better options right there. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Charles Grant at the 106th pick is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. A need, and now a little less of one.
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Que Robinson. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Ollie Gordon II in the 217th overall pick should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
A real head-scratcher, Barryn Sorrell in No. 220 is miles ahead of his ranking. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Bryson Eason in the 238th pick is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
