Call it larceny. Walter Rouse sat on the board until the 196th pick, and the Patriots did not need to be asked twice. Call it a C and check back in two years.

Reaching for Hartman left real value on the table behind him. The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. They went 8 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

In the end, one you will need a couple of seasons to truly judge.
