Nothing loud, just a tidy B- for the Commanders.

Nobody had Sai'vion Jones this high, and it is not close. The Commanders reached 82 spots to get him at pick 61.
If one pick saves this weekend, it is Mafah. The offensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most. The back end got a real overhaul.
Good work on the whole, with offensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick 29 they get a ballhawk on the back end at a price that makes it sweeter. Need was not the driver here.
They left a pile of value on the table to take Sai'vion Jones this early at No. 61. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
They reached into another round for Terrance Ferguson, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
A slide stopped in the 148th pick, with Darius Alexander worth more than the price. A need, and now a little less of one.
Cobee Bryant at Round 6, Pick 33 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
A running back of that caliber at the Round 7 slot is the definition of value, full stop. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Good price on Hunter Wohler in the 249th pick, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. A luxury on a unit that was already in good shape.
LaJohntay Wester in pick No. 250 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
