If confidence were a draft strategy, the Eagles would have aced it. Keyron Crawford at slot 68 is 48 spots clear of where he belonged. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.
The Hecht pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
On the needs board they went 6 of 9, with cornerback the one that mattered most.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.

In Round 1, Pick 23 they get a disruptor off the edge, even if it was a touch early. Exactly the need they had to hit.

Tanner Koziol in slot 178 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. It fills a real need, too.
Domani Jackson in No. 197 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
