The Eagles did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Adisa Isaac fell into Round 3, Pick 26.
They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.
In the end, a coin-flip class: fine today, with a wide range of outcomes ahead.

In pick 28 they get a No. 1 receiver. The biggest hole, addressed.
Fair-plus on Cooper Beebe, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
A market-rate linebacker, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Edgerrin Cooper. A minor itch, scratched.
No drama and no debate, T.J. Tampa went about where he belonged in Round 2, Pick 21. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
They will replay Adisa Isaac at No. 89 for years; that is how good the value is. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Theo Johnson at the Round 4 slot is right where the board had him, plain and simple. The roster fit checks out.
