Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Kamal Hadden got past him. The Eagles do not have to explain a thing at the 210th pick.
They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. Spending an early pick on linebacker with wide receiver, interior defensive lineman and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.
The wide receiver hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
So much rides on Chop Robinson that the real verdict is a season or two away.
Pick-by-Pick
In slot 22 they get a double-digit-sack hope at fair value. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
In pick 23 they get a potential shutdown corner. The biggest hole, addressed.
They paid sticker price for Edgerrin Cooper in pick No. 50, and that is fine. It adds depth where they could use a little.

Kitan Oladapo in No. 171 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. It fills a real need, too.
Somehow Kamal Hadden was still sitting there in Round 6, Pick 35, and they pounced on premier cornerback value. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
