The Carson Steele pick is the one that will follow the Packers into the fall. They took him 70 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. It lands right in the middle: a C, no more, no less.
They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.
The Wilson pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.
In the end, a coin-flip class: fine today, with a wide range of outcomes ahead.
