The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Dwight McGlothern, Round 7, Pick 13, roughly 72 picks past where he belonged.
They punted on wide receiver, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Gray reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the wide receiver spot they never got to.

In No. 24 they get a building block for the line at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
Jordan Morgan at pick No. 56 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
They paid up for Cedric Gray at pick 98 when waiting would have done the job. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Isaac Guerendo in the 119th pick is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.

Somehow Dwight McGlothern was still sitting there in the Round 7 slot, and they pounced on premier cornerback value. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
