There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Vikings started one anyway for Bryce Foster, 26 picks ahead of schedule.
Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Washington Jr.. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 18 they get a three-down second-level presence. Need was not the driver here.
Nothing to complain about; Caleb Banks went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Treydan Stukes slipping to pick 82 is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
The board fumbled Mike Washington Jr. all the way to No. 97, and they scooped it up. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Zxavian Harris at the 163rd pick is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the interior defensive lineman. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.

A swing that ignored the value entirely, Nolan Rucci well ahead of where he belonged. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
