The Commanders put a flag in the ground for Tyler Harrell, 134 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

Whatever Jayden Daniels becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer. The phones were where this weekend was really won.

They will answer for taking OLB-EDGE early while tight end and interior defensive lineman went begging. They banked enough surplus on Simpson to cover a lot of smaller sins.

They will regret leaving tight end for another day if the season turns on it.
