It is the swing that defines the weekend: JD Bertrand in Round 5, Pick 39, a good 45 spots before the room expected him. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
