The board owed the Texans one, and it paid up: Tahj Brooks, the No. 122 name on the board, sitting there at the 167th overall pick like a gift left on the doorstep. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B+.
They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.
They went 4 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
