Nobody else had Tahj Brooks anywhere near slot 105. The Giants did, by 36 spots, and that gap is the whole story. Put together, it is a D.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. Everything downstream of Jayden Daniels depends on Jayden Daniels, and the building knows it.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman. The Lassiter pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at interior defensive lineman, safety and other spots.

Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and interior defensive lineman is still a hole.
